Photohunt- I Love...

This week's Saturday Photo hunt theme is "I Love..."

That sure can encompass quite a bit!

But when I came across this old photo, it tugged at my heart.

So....

I Love....

Little girls playing on the beach with their daddy.

Of days long ago....
And of more recent days gone by...

I can't be with my own daddy anymore, but I love watching my own little girls make memories with theirs.

1st Photohunter

I'm participating for the first time in Photohunt!
This week's theme was a tough one- Original.

But in my closet still hangs the original outfit I was wearing when my husband first laid eyes on me- on our blind date, on August 14th, 1993,

Here is a photo of me against the real dress...that photo was taken two years after that first date, standing on a pier at his Navy base. (Soon he'd be going on a six month deployment.)

I'd like to say that this outfit still fit perfectly, and that I didn't have to strain at the buttons when I try it on...but as you can see, I was a skinnie-minnie "back in the day"... before my babies...and when my metabolism seemed to run at high speed!

Still, I am hanging on to this outfit, just the same.
