While so many of us are taking a bit of a break for Labor Day weekend, I thought I would give a shameless plug for my
Old Movie Blog.
What do I consider old movies, you may ask? Well, first of all, it has to be made before the mid-60's. And my personal favorites usually have romance in them somewhere - but not always!
Some of you have kindly visited a few of my posts over there already!
I'm sure there are movie rings I could join or something if I wanted to, but I actually do it just for fun- and for the 2 or 3 other people I know that also enjoy the old classics.
I only post a few times a month- my "real" blog keeps me busy enough! But I wanted to extend the invitation to my new blogging buddies to come take a peek if you have time! Especially, if you are one of those people that likes to settle in with a bowl of popcorn, your jammies on, and watch one of those Cary Grant or Doris Day flicks!
So come on by... lots of butter please, just go easy on the salt!

Neat pictures along with your post. I loved Cary Grant & good oldGlen Ford who just died was also a good actor. He was 90 I think, & he was in a lot of movies. I'll have to check out TCM or AMC to see if they are running any of his as a tribute.

Thanks, Mom! :) I hadn't heard that Glenn Ford passed away. I use to really keep track of it when they died, but now I can't keep up!
I'll definitely have to check out your other blog .. It's always refreshiing to hear from someone who, unlike the crackpots who program AMC, understands that a movie that came out in the 80s can't be a classic!
