This is the drawing our four year old made this week. That's her, on the right...the bride. And the groom is Daddy. Note his eyes are in the shape of hearts, to denote the love.
I think her daddy will want to hang on this picture...pull it out and look at it on her real wedding day...

What a sweet picture, & yes I'm sure her daddy will want to hang on to that one so better start a folder if you don't have one. As I told you once, When I was little, I wanted to marry my big brother when I grew up. My dad was AWOL from the family at the time & even though he was only 12 years older, my brother was a great father figure, & became a great dad raising my neice & nephew when their mom died leaving a 6 month old nephew, & a 4 year old daughter.

These are the type of drawings our children make that mean the world to us. I've kept quite a few my sons drew when they were little and I often take them out to look at them:-) Love the way your daughter used little hearts for his eyes to denote love...smart little girl!! Hugs xox

There's just something special about Daddys and Daughters. My husband actually was able to be the officiating minister at both of our girls' weddings, just as my father was at ours. It was wonderful.
Actually, I've seen her draw a little more elaborately but I still liked this more simple one because of content. ;)
But thank you...yes, her dress is quite lovely and the groom is rather handsome...I'm usually the jealous type, but I'll let her marry her daddy this once...:)
Oh my goodness is that adorable!!! You bring that out on her wedding day, I don't care if you have a man who never cries, this will melt any man giving up his daughter.....

Oh, I love it! Yes, keep that in a safe place with the explanations written on it somewhere (if you haven't done that already). We have a comical picture of our soon-to-be-married son taken when he was 4 years old and saved all these years to give to his future wife. She'll get it after the honeymoon.
That belongs in a frame in a prominent place. Her daddy will protect her until that day. Sweet reminder for all of you. Makes me cry!

I'm envious that you have a little girl to knit with! My friend has taught two of her daughters to knit and it's been a great interest/obsession for them to share. It is definitely addictive though! :)
That is definitely a keeper! Better laminate it! Care Bear is an artist like that, at 4. She amazes me every day with her detailed drawings.
